Michele R. Rita practices primarily in the area of insurance fraud, investigating and litigating healthcare-related claims in federal and state court.

Prior to joining the Hollander Legal Group, Michele was an associate at a large regional firm where she handled matters involving healthcare insurance fraud, as well as bad faith claims.  Michele also practiced at a large international firm, based in New York City, where she defended  healthcare institutions, including major metropolitan hospitals and individual medical providers. She gained extensive courtroom experience handling complex, high-exposure, medical liability actions as well as general negligence and labor law matters.

Michele is actively involved in her community on Long Island and volunteers her time to various fundraising organizations. While in college, she was a member of the varsity soccer team and still enjoys playing recreationally.
