In an motor vehicle liability action, HLG successfully secured an order from the Supreme Court, Queens County dismissing all liability claims asserted against its client. According the evidence presented HLG’s client Elvi Dee Reyes was stopped at a red traffic light when stuck by another vehicle which pushed Mr. Reyes into the vehicle being operated by the plaintiff. HLG’s attorneys successfully argued that Mr. Reyes was not he proximate cause of incident and was not liable for the injuries sustained to the plaintiff. The Supreme Court, Queens County agreed and dismissed all causes of action asserted against Mr. Reyes.
