HLG’s No-Fault practice group consists of Allan S. Hollander, Brian E. Kaufman, Justin A. Calabrese, Lindsay A. Padover, and Christopher J. Volpe.
The group is involved in all aspects of No-Fault claims file handling from evaluation through litigation and/or arbitration. The experience and success of HLG’s attorneys in handling No-Fault actions and arbitrations, including those involving complex matters, has resulted in HLG attorneys being invited to speak at the National Insurance Crime Bureau and insurance carrier training courses.
HLG attorneys routinely conduct investigations into the legitimacy of reported motor vehicle incidents and subsequent treatment by conducting examinations under oath of claimants and medical providers. In addition, we have experience conducting investigations on behalf of our clients to determine whether the medical providers submitting No-Fault claims are properly incorporated in accordance with the applicable laws. We work together with claim adjusters, SIU investigators, and other interested parties to detect fraud and recoup any monies paid to fraudulent providers.
The firm also maintains an active litigation and arbitration practice and regularly represents their clients at arbitration hearings and trials. The attorneys at HLG have obtained favorable results for the firm’s clients, particularly in defending fraudulent claims. Our attorneys have experience initiating declaratory judgment actions, which are effective in validating denial of claims and reducing fees and costs for our clients. The declaratory judgment actions are useful in resolving claims resulting from a single accident, as well as in larger actions relating to licensing violations by medical providers, and policy violations.
